Notes and additional requirements: USMLE/COMLEX scores required. For IMGs: 8 weeks (2 months) of Internal Medicine clinical clerkships/sub-internships with direct patient care at an LCME-accredited U.S., Puerto Rican, or Canadian medical school, or at least four months of Internal Medicine residency training in an ACGME-accredited U.S., Puerto Rican, or Canadian program required; ECFMG certification required at application. J-1 visa sponsorship required for foreign nationals needing visa sponsorship; H-1B generally not sponsored. Applicants must also be permanent residents of a WWAMI state or sponsored by a UW School of Medicine faculty member with a personal or professional relationship.
