Notes and additional requirements: Three letters of recommendation written within the past 12 months, two letters from psychiatrist. Applicants who graduated from medical school five(5) years ago or more must currently be working as a physician or be in a residency or fellowship program either in the United States or in an international program. Applicants engaged in externship, observership or volunteer research programs and who graduated from medical school more than five years ago do not meet this requirement. Experience in psychiatry is desirable, as is some experience in the United States. We will accept experience in clinical research, externships and observerships in psychiatry. We, generally, do not accept more than three attempts on any of the Step examinations.
