Notes and additional requirements: USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX I pass, USMLE Step II or COMLEX II passing score. U.S. clinical experience is not required for admission into our program, but may be taken into consideration when your application is reviewed. We review all applications we receive, and we consider applicants who signal us and those who don't signal our program for interviews. Gold signals and silver signals do help us determine how to allocate our interview invitations. We do not take signals into consideration when ranking applicants who have interviewed with us. Applicants who are not United States citizens must have a J-1 Visa or Permanent Resident Card to be employed as a resident or fellow at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
