Notes and additional requirements: You may apply to our program having only taken Step 1. Please include Step 2 if available; there is no minimum score requirement. We will require a passing Step 2 score prior to ranking an applicant with NRMP. Have passing USMLE scores preferably on your first attempt. A minimum of three letters in support of your application from medical school faculty. One letter should be a "chair's letter" from your school's department of medicine. One should be from a clinical internal medicine experience, preferably from your third and fourth-year clinical rotations. Typically, international graduates must complete a clinical observership of no less than 2 weeks at an institution in the United States, and will include at least 1 letter of recommendation from a US-based in-person clinical experience. We will prioritize the review of applications from international applicants who have signaled our institution (either Gold or Silver).
