Notes and additional requirements: Step 1 & 2 are required. Active clinical experience in a US or Canadian medical school or teaching hospital is not required but highly preferred. Applicants who have failed any USMLE step examination are less likely to be granted interviews. Active clinical experience in a US or Canadian medical school or teaching hospital is not required, but preferred. Medical Student Performance Evaluation (Dean's letter) and minimum of three letters of recommendation, and preferably four, including one from the Chair of the Department of Medicine if available.
