Notes and additional requirements: Successful scores on USMLE Step II or COMLEX 2 are required by the mid-point of the intern (PL1) year, but are not required to apply or interview for a position. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation, we do not require a Letter from your Chair of Pediatrics. We expect international medical graduates to have exceptional academic records and to have at least 4 months of prior clinical experience at an accredited US or Canadian medical center, preferably involving inpatient pediatrics. Letters of recommendation must be from attending physicians who have supervised the applicant in a clinical setting and are especially useful if they are from pediatric physicians who have themselves have had experience in the US. Applicants must be ECFMG certified by our application deadline.
