Notes and additional requirements: Applicants must pass USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK or COMLEX Level 1 and 2. Clinical experience or formal professional/graduate education in the U.S. is strongly preferred but not required. Applicants must have been enrolled in medical school, a relevant graduate degree program, a post-graduate residency-training program, or active in medical practice within the past five years. IMGs from foreign medical schools other than Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand must have ECFMG certification by February 15. The program sponsors J-1 visas and H-1B visas on a case-by-case basis; H-1B applicants must have passing Step 3 results received by March 31.
