Notes and additional requirements: Applicants must have passed USMLE Step 1 before the interview. Preference will be given to first-time takers of the USMLE. Applicants must pass USMLE Step 2 before beginning the program, and ideally before the NRMP Rank Order List. Multiple failures on standardized exams are viewed very unfavorably and require explanation in the personal statement before the applicant will be considered. Failed exams that have scores still pending or have not been retaken at the time of match list submission will not be ranked. Applicants should have clinical experience within the past 3 years. U.S. experience is very desirable in our search for the ideal resident.
