Notes and additional requirements: Applications from IMG’s are accepted. A medical degree obtained within 3 years of application is encouraged. Evidence of continued clinical work and productive scholarly/research activity is preferred. Experience in the US medical system is not required but is highly advised. ECFMG certification is required at the time of application for interview considerations. The Residency Program does not sponsor H1B visas. IMGs are encouraged to obtain ECFMG sponsorship as a J1 Exchange Visitor.
