Notes and additional requirements: Passing USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX Level 1 is required for application review; passing Step 1 and Step 2 or COMLEX Level 1 and Level 2 is required for ranking. Step 2/COMLEX Level 2 must be passed by February 1. Applicants who completed medical training before June 2020 must have recent hands-on U.S. clinical experience or equivalent experience; six months of hands-on experience is preferred. Observerships and research do not count toward clinical experience.
