Notes and additional requirements: We prefer that you passn USMLE on your first attempt, but special circumstances are considered. Step 2 is required as part of appointment. Dean's letter/MSPE and up to 4 letters of recommendation (2 letters need to be EM official Standardized Letters of Evaluation (SLOE) *note you can apply with 1 SLOE, but a 2nd will need to be submitted 1 week prior to the NRMP rank list deadline) required. An emergency medicine rotation or experience in the US is essential.
