Notes and additional requirements: Applicants must be U.S. citizens, eligible for a North Carolina training license, and have completed USMLE Steps 1 and 2 before ranking. Minimum scores are 200 on the first USMLE attempt and 220 average, or 450 first-attempt COMLEX and 500 average. Graduation within the past 5 years and prior U.S. Internal Medicine clinical experience are preferred; IMGs must have a current ECFMG Certificate before licensure. The program does not sponsor visas.
