Admission process notes:
Qualified Tennesseans are given priority over out-of-state applicants, nonresidents must possess superior qualifications to be considered for admission. Once we have received a verified application from AMCAS, a select group of applicants will be sent a link to complete the secondary application.

Requirements notes:
Most applicants will only submit three (3) letters of evaluation. If you believe it would be beneficial to your application, you should feel free to submit 1-2 additional letters.

GPA, MCAT notes:
The College of Medicine will accept scores from MCAT tests taken no more than five (5) years prior to the year of desired matriculation.

Deadlines notes:
The UTHSC College of Medicine does not offer an early decision program. Beginning late June, we will begin receiving primary applications from AMCAS for the admissions cycle.
