Admission process notes:
If you have satisfied the admissions criteria, submit your application directly to the UQ-Ochsner Enrollment team. As an UQ-Ochsner MD student, you’ll spend your first 2 years of the program in Brisbane, Australia. During Years 3 and 4 you’ll gain hands on clinical practice at Ochsner Health campus in Louisiana, USA.

Requirements notes:
English language proficiency is required for International students at UQ. If you completed your degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) in a designated English-speaking country, you will meet the minimum English language proficiency requirements mandatory for entry.

GPA, MCAT notes:
A minimum MCAT score of 504 is required. The minimum MCAT score must be achieved in the four years prior to the intended start date of the program. B average in your most recently completed degree (Bachelor or Masters degree). This degree must have been completed within the ten year period preceding the proposed commencement date.

Deadlines notes:
Please note that the MD Academic Calendar in Australia differs from schools in the United States in that it runs from January to November each year. Applications: Rolling; application will be considered for next appropriate intake Class; Interviews: Begin in March and continue into the Fall; Offers: Three to four weeks following the MMI.
