Admission process notes:
We do not participate in the AMCAS Early Decision Program. Students can complete the Application Phase in one of four campus programs, each of which offers a distinct but comparable experience. Regardless of the campus assignment, all students will be prepared for Individualization Phase and future career endeavors.
Requirements notes:
The total number of required letters is three (3). Applicants may provide two (2) optional letters, for a total of five (5).
GPA, MCAT notes:
The MCAT examination is required and should be completed within 3 years of matriculation. A competitive In-state applicant has a BCPM GPA over 3.2 and MCAT 500 or higher. A competitive Out-of-state applicant has an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.59 and BCPM GPA over 3.49 and MCAT 514 or higher.
Deadlines notes:
The UNC SOM AMCAS submission deadline is October 1.
Tuition fees notes:
Tuition will be charged per credit hour up to 9 credit hours. The per credit hour rate in-state rate is $1,831 ($16,479/9). The out-of-state per credit hour rate is $3,404.61 ($30,641.50/9).
