Admission process notes:
After review of the primary AMCAS application, select and competitive individuals will be asked to submit a Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV secondary application. The secondary application is only sent to Nevada residents, those with qualifying Nevada connections, and applicants from our Western region list of states. All applicants will receive an email upon receipt of their AMCAS application, which will also contain email instructions for those with ties to Nevada who are not from a Western region state. In this email, an applicant can provide the school connection details for secondary application consideration.

Requirements notes:
Applicants must submit a minimum of three letters of recommendation and up to a maximum of five letters. These can be individually submitted by letter writers or in packet form from your educational institution.

GPA, MCAT notes:
The most recent MCAT score will be used for the admissions screening process, and MCAT scores cannot be more than three years old at the time of application. An undergraduate (cumulative) GPA of 3.2 or higher is required. An undergraduate biology, chemistry, physics, and math (BCPM) GPA of 3.2 or higher is also required.

Deadlines notes:
The application and its materials must be submitted by October 1. Letters must be received no later than the application deadline of October 1.

Tuition fees notes:
In-state Tuition: $30,389 for 2024-2025, estimated $31,300 for 2025-2026. Out-of-state Tuition: $63,028 for 2024-2025, estimated $64,919 for 2025-2026. Total Cost of Attendance (First Year): In-state: $81,633; Out-of-state: $112,399.
