Admission process notes:
Secondary applications are sent to candidates with an MCAT score at or above the 35th percentile.
Requirements notes:
MD Admissions requests 3-4 letters of recommendation or a committee packet containing multiple letters. If applicants have more than 4 letters in their packet or submit more than 4 individual letters, and they are invited for an interview, they will designate which 4 letters they wish us to consider for the post-interview holistic review.
GPA, MCAT notes:
We accept scores within three years of your matriculation year.
Deadlines notes:
Deadlines: September 15 Primary AMCAS application for the MD and MD/PhD (MSTP) programs; October 15 Secondary application for the MD and MD/PhD (MSTP) programs. To be considered for need-based scholarships, Admissions requires that you complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the University of Michigan Institutional Application for Financial Aid no later than February 15.
