Admission process notes:
The UH College of Medicine enrolled its inaugural class of 30 students in 2020. Texas law prescribes that no more than 10 percent of the class can be classified as nonresident. Interested students must submit an application via the Texas Medical and Dental Schools Application Service (TMDSAS), the centralized processing service for participating Texas medical schools. Qualified applicants will receive an email invitation to submit a secondary application. The email will contain a link to the submission portal along with instructions and additional information.
Requirements notes:
A minimum of three (3) Letters of Recommendation.
GPA, MCAT notes:
The MCAT must be taken by September of the application year, and scores cannot be more than 5 years old. While there is no minimum GPA required for application, the UH College of Medicine will consider applicants for admission who have demonstrated academic excellence.
Deadlines notes:
There is a 14-day deadline from the time-date stamp on the invitation email to return the secondary application.

Total Cost of Attendance: TX Resident $56,614; Non-Resident $69,714.
