Admission process notes:
​​​Upon receipt and verification of the AMCAS application, the Office of Admissions will email eligible applicants the link to our Secondary Application that is to be completed online and submitted by November 30th of each calendar year (or the next day if November 30th is a weekend or holiday).

Requirements notes:
All applicants applying to the University of Colorado School of Medicine are required to complete CASPer, an online situational judgment test. We require three to five letters of recommendation, or a committee summary letter; letters can come from a faculty member, clinical experience, research experience, or a current job as the letter transmits cogent information about the applicant’s work.

GPA, MCAT notes:
Students must take the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), with the oldest exam accepted no more than three years prior to the year of planned matriculation. Starting in 2025, applicants with an MCAT of 500 or greater are invited to complete the secondary application.

Deadlines notes:
October 15 - Offers of admission start to be offered on a rolling basis; October 15 - CUSOM AMCAS primary application deadline; November 30 - CU School of Medicine secondary application deadline.

Tuition fees notes:
Accountable Student Service Support Fee $25,955.00. Students in professional health care programs at the Anschutz Medical Campus who are nonresidents at the time of their enrollment participate in the Accountable Student Program and sign a contract to pay this support fee. The program applies to nonresident and resident students who started the program as nonresidents. This fee is split between Fall and Spring.
