Admission process notes:
The University of Arizona has two colleges of medicine: the College of Medicine – Tucson and the College of Medicine – Phoenix. Both colleges offer an outstanding medical education. Make sure to designate the specific college you wish to attend.
Requirements notes:
The Admissions Committee requires a minimum of three letters (and recommends no more than five) from individuals with whom you have an established professional relationship and can clearly affirm the traits and characteristics desired in a physician. At least one letter from a recent clinical experience is highly recommended.
GPA, MCAT notes:
Applicants must have taken the MCAT exam within four years of intended matriculation into medical school. The college has established a minimum composite score of a 500 (498 - Tucson) for the MCAT. Applicants must have a cumulative science and overall GPA of 3.0 or better in either their undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, or graduate studies. As special circumstances arise, GPA calculations can be performed on a case-by-case basis.
Deadlines notes:
Supplemental Application and Fee Deadline for MD 30 days after invitations. Letters of Recommendation Due Sunday, December 1(December 15 - Tucson).

Arizona Resident - $40,867 Non-Arizona Resident - $60,521 Arizona residents include Native Americans who reside on reservations contiguous with the state of Arizona, along with applicants from Montana and Wyoming as part of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE).
