Admission process notes:
All of our programs require the submissions of a SUNY Upstate Medical University application. SUNY Upstate Medical University is a public/state institution and does give a slight preference to applicant's from New York state when reviewing applications. Once your application is received from AMCAS, a link to the Secondary application will be sent you.
Requirements notes:
Applicants must submit a letter of evaluation from the Health Professions Advisory Committee or the Pre-Health Advisor from their undergraduate institution. In the absence of such a committee, two letters of recommendation from faculty members in different departments are acceptable, although one of the departments must be a science department.
Deadlines notes:
November 1- Latest date to submit and complete application to MD/PhD program. December 1 - Latest date to submit and complete application to MD, Rural Medical Scholars Program, MD/MBA, and MD/MPH programs.
