Requirements notes:
Irish and EU applicants – School Leaver to be eligible for consideration for an Irish or EU School Leaver place, you must: Meet the minimum entry (matriculation) and specific subject requirements. Achieve a minimum of 480 points in the same sitting of the Irish Leaving Certificate examination or equivalent. Sit the HPAT-Ireland test in the year of admission to the programme.

GPA, MCAT notes:
As a guide, in 2025 Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent points (for students who successfully entered the RCSI Medicine programme) ranged from 553 (moderated LCE points) to 565 (moderated LCE points) and HPAT-Ireland scores ranged from 163 to 241. The combined HPAT and moderated points score required for admission to the Undergraduate Medicine programme in 2025 was 732* (random selection).
