Admission process notes:
If you are offered an admission to Rowan-Virtua SOM and you select the PBL curriculum model, you will have the option of selecting which campus location you prefer however, placement into a preferred location is not guranteed. When we receive your verified AACOMAS application, you will receive a notification from the Office of Admissions. The notification will include a link and login instructions to access the Secondary Application online.
Requirements notes:
Obtain letter(s) of recommendation from a pre-medical committee or from at least two science faculty members who taught you in a science course. A Pre-medical Advisory Committee recommendation is preferred. In lieu of this recommendation, or in addition to, you can submit two letters from science faculty (Biological Sciences, Chemistry, etc.), who can attest to your qualifications for medical school. If you are unable to obtain the required letters of recommendation, please contact the Office of Admissions. Letters from D.O. physicians are strongly recommended.
GPA, MCAT notes:
Preferred MCAT score = 500 +; Preferred science GPA = 3.40 +; MCAT scores are good for a period of five years.
Deadlines notes:
Deadline to submit the Secondary Application is March 15 of the year of anticipated enrollment.
