Admission process notes:
All applicants receive an NYMC Supplemental Application upon submission of their primary application to AMCAS.
Requirements notes:
We look at the breadth and quality of extracurricular, community, research, and work experiences, obstacles overcome, letters of evaluation, your personal statement, and pre-screening CASPer results (Computer-Assisted Sampling of Personal Characteristics). If applicable, impressions about an applicant gained through the MMI interview process are also given serious consideration.
GPA, MCAT notes:
NYMC will only accept MCAT scores starting from January 3 years ago to September 1 year ago.
Deadlines notes:
To be considered, applicants must file their primary AMCAS application between June 1 and December 15 prior to the year of entry.
Tuition fees notes:
Requirement for applicants who are non-US citizens or permanent residents to either: deposit an amount equal to four years of tuition and fees (approximately $239,000 US dollars) into a bank escrow account in advance of their matriculation to NYMC; or deposit an amount equal to two years of tuition and fees into a bank escrow account in advance of their matriculation to NYMC and provide a signed personal guarantee from a creditworthy, U.S. citizen for additional tuition prepayments before the start of the second and third years of the program (all deposits are due by July 1st).
