Admission process notes:
Applicants who meet our residency requirements will be invited to complete the MSU College of Human Medicine Secondary Application.
Requirements notes:
Applicants are required to take one situational judgment test, either Casper Test (Altus Suite) or the AAMC PREview Exam. A minimum of three letters of evaluation (maximum of five). All letters must be signed, preferably on letterhead, and submitted though AMCAS Letters Service.
GPA, MCAT notes:
Applicants who meet a minimum MCAT score of 495 and above will be considered. However, an MCAT Total Score of 500 or higher is desirable and predictive of success in a rigorous medical school curriculum. Ideally, applicants should achieve a score of 125 or higher in each of the four subsections of the MCAT to demonstrate academic readiness. MCAT scores obtained within the past four calendar years will be considered.
Deadlines notes:
July-December: Select applicants invited to submit secondary application materials; September – March: Select applicants invited to interview; September cycle: Last acceptable MCAT test date, up to four years prior to the application; October 15: Offers of admission made on a rolling basis until the class is full;
