Admission process notes:
After receipt of an AMCAS application, GW will email each applicant an invitation to complete the secondary application.
Requirements notes:
To further enhance our holistic review process, we are recommending applicants take the AAMC PREviewTM Professional Readiness Exam. A Pre-Health or Pre-Medical Committee Letter (required if available to you) OR Three individuals letters, at least one of which must be from a science faculty member familiar with your academic work.
GPA, MCAT notes:
MCAT scores that have been taken within three years prior to the matriculation year required. MCAT scores that include a score of 123 or below are considered non-competitive. Any score below 500 is not considered competitive. A cumulative GPA of below a 3.0 is considered non-competitive.
Deadlines notes:
Applicants must return the completed secondary application and pay the $142 application fee to the Admissions Office no later than December 12. We encourage you to submit all materials as soon as possible.
Tuition fees notes:
Instrument costs for 1st year students include dissecting equipment and clinical instruments and the cost of a required notebook computer. The MD Program requires you to have a laptop computer and provides the required specifications for all laptop computers that will run the necessary software here.
