Admission process notes:
Applicants for admission must complete a course of study leading to a baccalaureate degree at an accredited US or Canadian college or university prior to matriculation. If you have received your undergraduate degree outside the US or Canada, then you must complete at least one year of advanced science-based course work at an accredited US institution prior to application. July: Earliest date for submitting the CWRU secondary application.

Requirements notes:
Three to five letters of recommendations: At least two letters must be from science professors/instructors and/or research PI. A comprehensive Pre-Medical Committee evaluation packet will be accepted in lieu of the three to five individual letters. An additional evaluation letter from a research advisor is required for the College Program and Medical Scientist Training Program and recommended for the University Program, if applicable.

GPA, MCAT notes:
Completed MCAT exam and achieve a 495 or greater to receive our secondary application. The Office of Admissions does not accept MCAT scores more than three years old.

Deadlines notes:
July - November 1: Our Admissions Office receives verified AMCAS primary applications and electronically invites applicants to complete CWRU's Secondary Application.
