Admission process notes:
The CUSM Office of Admissions receives applications from AMCAS, reviews them, and selects highly qualified applicants that meet CUSM criteria on the Requirments for Admissions page to obtain a Secondary Application. The secondary application includes essay questions that aim to explore the applicants' attributes.

Requirements notes:
Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation through the American Medical College Application System (AMCAS). If a Pre-Health Advisory Committee's letter of evaluation is available, it may replace the other letters' requirement.

GPA, MCAT notes:
Applicants must have taken the MCAT exam within three years of intended matriculation into medical school. To be considered for admission to the Early Decision Program, applicants must achieve a minimum science GPA of 3.5.

Deadlines notes:
The deadline for completing the AMCAS application is November 30. The Secondary/Supplemental Application submission deadline is December 30. All USU students must be U.S. citizens by 15 October of the year of application.
