Admission process notes:
Stage I: Submitting an application online according to the eligibility requirements of AKU; Writing the AKU Test or submitting its equivalent. Stage II: Interviews: Shortlisting of candidates is based on the applicable Test or its equivalent. The number of candidates interviewed is limited. Candidates will be required to attend two independent interviews.

Requirements notes:
The admission regulations as described in the PMDC notification (Admission regulations 2022) allow candidates who have passed biology, chemistry and either physics or mathematics in the Higher Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent 12th grade qualification recognised in Pakistan are eligible to apply to the MBBS programme. Two Reference Letters: References from teachers to be filled on University’s prescribed format.

GPA, MCAT notes:
Based on the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) regulations, MDCAT will be compulsory for all candidates applying for the MBBS programme. The MDCAT must be written and submitted and have a score to meet minimum eligibility requirements for an application to be considered for final selection.
