Notes and additional requirements: Before beginning the Dermatology Residency, candidates need to complete one year (PGY-1) of clinically based training at Mayo Clinic's campus in Phoenix, Arizona, in the Transitional Year Residency. It's not necessary to apply separately to the Transitional Year Residency.
