Notes and additional requirements: Step I and Step II are required. In general, for consideration for our program, you must have ECFMG certification by December 21. For International Medical Graduates, preference will be given to candidates who have passed USMLE Step 3 on the first attempt. U.S. clinical experience is not a requirement, but is highly encouraged. Pass USMLE Step 2 CS (if applicable) on the first attempt. At least three letters of recommendation (up to four) reflecting an applicant's clinical abilities in any setting and specialty are required. We strongly encourage that one of these letters be a letter from a Department of Medicine Chair or Dean.
