Notes and additional requirements: Step I required, step 2 is highly recommended, full review and consideration will be placed on hold until receipt of the entire application.Successful completion of the USMLE Step 3 is part of the requirement for the H-1b visa, as well as securing a valid Illinois Temporary license in the State of Illinois. Three letters in addition to a dean’s letter. Completion of training at the medical school/residency level in the last five years preferred. We prefer USMLE scores that are equal to or higher than the mean on the first attempt for your application to be considered. However, we also take other factors such as clinical experience and letters of reference into high consideration. Second attempts are considered on a case by case basis.
