Notes and additional requirements: Graduated from medical school within 5 years of application date; any gaps greater than 1 year must be supported with medical experience. Two failures total, with no more than one examination failure for Step 1, 2 USMLE/COMLEX. MSPE and 2 LORs required. One LOR must be from a U.S. Family Medicine physician who has directly supervised you in a U.S. Family Medicine Clinic within the past 2 years. Second LOR must be from an U.S. Inpatient experience: Family Medicine, Inpatient Pediatrics or Internal Medicine. If already graduated, all international applicants must be ECFMG certified prior to submission of application. U.S. Family Medicine Clinic experience equivalent to a 4-6 week rotation. U.S. experience: Family Medicine, Inpatient Pediatrics or Internal Medicine.
