Notes and additional requirements: USMLE/COMLEX components must meet South Dakota licensing requirements: each USMLE component passed within three attempts and within seven years from Step 1 through Step 3. IMG applicants must have passed all USMLE steps on the first attempt, have ECFMG certification, and have clinical experience within the last two years. IMG applicants must have graduated within the last five years and have valid U.S. permanent residency, citizenship, or an employment visa; the program does not sponsor visas.
