Notes and additional requirements: We will consider all applicants for interviews, regardless of whether or not they have taken the USMLE Step 2 at the time of their application. However, applicants must pass the USMLE Steps 2 and 3 prior to the start of their residency. The trainee must complete the required PGY-1 Ophthalmology-focused Transitional Year program under the auspices of the Department of Family Medicine at BronxCare (separate application process required).
