Notes and additional requirements: USMLE scores Step I required, Step II and III if available. We accept international medical graduates with superior qualifications. US clinical experience is extremely helpful. An observership does not count as US clinical experience. Graduation within 3 years preferred. At least three letters of recommendation. At least one must be from an Anesthesiologist. International candidates must be ECFMG certified by the end of the interview season (end of January). To be competitive, USMLE scores should be at least 220 on the first attempt and ideally greater than 230.
