Notes and additional requirements: USMLE Step 2 required prior to the start of his/her training. Applicants must have graduated medical school within the last five(5) years, and preference is given to those that have graduated in the previous two(2) years; or, if greater than five years removed from medical school graduation, the applicant must have performed observership(s) in the field of Internal Medicine and/or subspecialty with evaluations and references from the attending physicians. Foreign Medical Graduate applicants, not born in the United States of America who require ECFMG certification, must be fully competent in written and oral English. Competency in English is demonstrated by obtaining a minimum score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) “Academic Exam” which is the responsibility of the applicant to complete.
